Description
The position of emergency manager is an honor to carry and a challenge to embrace all in one package. The leader experiences a higher level of tense moments due to various ED complexities. These include staffing, volumes, boarding circumstances, the email combustion, and organization’s financial guardrails. The structure of time management, planning and organizing are critical to embrace efficient practices to support the well-being for the emergency leader.
Time management, planning and organizing are imperative skills to build an organized and efficient model of service. Time management has been studied for years and across many industries. The healthcare demands in the emergency workforce have led to this leadership quality to be of utmost importance to develop and hardwire. These principles arrange, protect, and adapt for the betterment of the emergency leader’s health and team success.
