Description
The seven-chapter case-based course is focused on the unique needs of the pediatric behavioral health population and covers important information on initial assessment, safety concerns, medical screening, rapport, and anxiety management in the care of pediatric patients often seen in the emergency department.
 
Learner Outcome(s): Nurses who complete the course will be able to identify appropriate nursing intervention for the pediatric behavioral health patient presenting to the emergency department.
