Description

This online course provides the foundational geriatric knowledge, skills and systematic process needed to effectively guide geriatric patient care and improve outcomes. Complete the course in two hours or less PLUS earn 2.0 CNE contact hours. Excellent resource for onboarding new nurses or to use as a quick refresher for more experienced nurses. This introductory course serves as a steppingstone for future geriatric educational offerings with more advanced content such as ENA’s GENE Level II.

Learner Outcome(s): The learner will be able to systematically assess the geriatric patient, intervene and/or assist with interventions, and provide evidence-based geriatric nursing care within the context of a team.
