This presentation will expand on the "ABC" assessment and explain the "MARCH" algorithm used in trauma assessment, highlighting evidence-based interventions. At the conclusion of the presentation, learners will:

  • Describe the steps of the MARCH trauma assessment algorithm.
  • Identify critical interventions to improve morbidity and mortality outcomes in trauma patients.
  • Formulate a resuscitation strategy for a critically injured polytrauma patient.
