About this Pathway

The Novice pathway includes comprehensive continuing education designed specifically for the new nurse in the emergency department. This tailored education package addresses the educational needs of a novice nurse by providing the foundational knowledge and initial competencies in caring for pediatric, adult and geriatric emergency department patients.

ENA University's pathways support a nurse's growth and professional development. The Clinical Practice-Novice Pathway includes 14 educational offerings that includes up to 27.25 Contact Hour Credits covering three primary content categories
:

  2. Professional 
  3. Well-Being
Upon purchase, you have three (3) years to complete the courses in your pathway.

3 Year Access
Thank you for participating in the pathway program. You have three (3) years to complete the courses in your pathway. The start date is based on your initial access to your first course and access to the courses within the pathway ends 1,095 days later. At the end of the three (3) years a repurchase of individual courses will be required for any courses not completed. Any course purchased prior to pathway access, or outside of a pathway purchase is not affected. Any pathway course completed prior to purchase will display in the pathway as completed.
