Description

This presentation will discuss differing perspectives on the concept of race and the complex relationship between science, healthcare, and the racialization of disease to help the learner understand how racism impacts ethnic health inequities.

By the end of the presentation, the learner will better be able to:

Discuss differing perspectives on the concept of race and the complex relationship between science, healthcare, and the racialization of disease.
Understand how racism impacts ethnic health inequities.
Discuss current events that illustrate how race correlates to medicine.
