Description
Every patient that presents to the Emergency Department requires a triage acuity decision. Emergency Severity Index (ESI) is a 5-level triage acuity scale that is valid and reliable for patients of all ages. This course provides the foundation to use and apply ESI. It includes the most recent version of the handbook, applicable pediatric patient scenarios and knowledge checks. There is a post-course exam applying ESI to pediatric patients.
