The Triage Curriculum program provides an emergency nurse the range of foundational knowledge needed to accurately triage patients.
Description
The Triage Curriculum is designed to focus on the Emergency Department nurse’s knowledge and skills specifically tailored to triage. A triage nurse must have exceptional critical thinking skills, clinical expertise, and communication skills, as well as compassion and a comprehensive understanding of triage as a point-of-entry process.

The Triage Curriculum consists of the below eight courses:

  1. Introduction to Triage
  2. Healthcare Law in Triage
  3. Communication and Patient Experience
  4. Symptom Presentation and Triage Assessment
  5. Special Population Considerations
  6. Prioritizing
  7. Triage in Disaster and Mass Casualty Situations
  8. Emergency Severity Index 2.0

Upon purchase, you have three (3) years to complete the courses in your curriculum based on your initial access to your first course.
3 Year Access
Thank you for participating in the Triage Curriculum. You have three (3) years to complete the courses in your curriculum. The start date is based on your initial access to your first course and access to the courses within the curriculum ends 1,095 days later. At the end of the three (3) years a repurchase of individual courses will be required for any courses not completed. Any course purchased prior to curriculum access, or outside of a curriculum purchase is not affected. Any curriculum course completed prior to purchase will display in the curriculum as completed.
