Description
Between 2000 and 2019, there were 7,348 disaster events worldwide that affected more than 4 billion people claiming about 1.23 million lives. It is imperative that the nurse performing triage understands the implications of disaster triage. There are many resources and organizations that discuss disaster planning, always following the institution’s Emergency Operations or Preparedness Plan.
