Suturing Techniques
Specialty training for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN). Course expires 3/19/2023.
Description
Specialty training for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), such as suturing techniques, is not always incorporated into formal education programs. Yet these skills are useful in an APRN’s daily practice. ENA’s new ADVANTICE™ eLearning module—Suturing Techniques—focuses on basic skin anatomy and wound closure. Additionally, this course features a series of basic suturing technique videos with hands-on practice. These videos demonstrate suture knot tying, needle removal and holding, running sutures, and more.

After registering for the online course, enhance your experience by purchasing a Suturing Kit that provides the supplies for hands-on practice during the suturing videos within the online course.
$38.00 - TO PURCHASE: Call (937) 746-2901 ext. 310

Learner Outcome(s): Upon completion of this course, emergency department nurses will have increased knowledge of wound management, wound closure, and suturing techniques.

Disclosure: The planners and presenters of this course have no conflicts of interest. Learners will be awarded 1.5 CNE contact hours upon complete review of the course modules and videos, and submitting an evaluation. Course expires 3/19/2023.
