This course will provide an overview of the physiologic differences and what makes each special population high-risk. Course expires 1/31/2026.
Description
The patient population in the emergency department (ED) varies. During the triage assessment, the nurse must be able to recognize the physiologic differences in patients, listen to and understand their symptoms and presentation, and assess what factors could make them high-risk.
