Description

Bringing extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) to a hospital is resource-consuming and controversial with limited evidence-based positive neurological outcomes for patients. However, continued research and knowledge has demonstrated that the ECMO has the potential to be a life-saving intervention for a population with an otherwise high mortality rate.   

This activity will examine online learning modules, interactive quizzes and simulation drills used to train the ED nursing staff.
