Implicit bias is the unintentional, negative evaluation of others based on race, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation. Studies have shown that implicit bias has a negative effect on patient care. This course guides you through identifying implicit biases within yourself and your work environment by having you reflect on scenarios and emergency department experiences.
Learners will be awarded 0.5 CNE contact hours upon a complete review of the course and submitting an evaluation.
