Shaperone Bed Alarm. After capturing the patient's weight, activate the Shaperone Exit Alarm. Press the Arm Disarm button and select either Zone 1 or 2. Zone 1 gives your patient more freedom to move, sit up, and adjust, while Zone 2 gives your patient a little less room for movement. While using the Shaperone Alarm, it is important to still have the stretcher in low height with both side rails raised. To disarm the Shaperone feature, hold down the Arm Disarm button until it reads Release. Once disarmed, a patient is free to use the restroom or go for testing. Always remember to reset the alarm once the patient is positioned back in the stretcher.
